This is my very first black lipstick. It was so creamy and slippery that it slid off my lips! I recommend using a black liner first & to blot before re-applying. This lipstick can be used to darken a red lipstick to turn it vampy or to darken other colors. I actually like this color for it seems to add mystery to any look.
