Miniso 'Kiss #02': Closest dupe to Mac Tropic Tonic! Affordable matte lipstick found in most miniso stores. The lipstick is heart shaped. Price range $2-5 depending on sale.
Mac '628 Tropic Tonic': Med-full coverage, semi-matte coral with a slight sheen (more sheen than miniso kiss 02). Price: $20 USD.
Revlon Moon Drops 'Blase Apricot': Very similar to tropic tonic, less pigmented but very wearable. Love this color, hate the scent. Smells like vintage floral plastic perfume. Cap is a bit flimsy/loose.
J. Cat Beauty 'LLS Scandalous': Creamy, pigmented lip-stain. Has a slight minty scent. Less pink than tropic tonic. One dip is enough to cover lips. This color will suit most skin tones.
Tony Moly: 'Cat Chu Wink #08': Very creamy, less pigmented. Applies a bit patchy due to thin formula. More orangey pastel than tropic tonic. I got this a long time ago so not sure if it's still available. Can be too pale for some skin tones.
BH Cosmetics 'Pop': Matte pigmented. Similar to tropic tonic but more lighter pastel. Can be too pale for some skin tones.
Thoughts: Been wearing mac tropic tonic lipstick every spring/summer. It brightens up my face and stays true to color. Vibrant, fun, and appropriate for all occasions. What more can you ask for? I carry one of the dupes in my purse for touch ups. Miniso Kiss #02 is the closest dupe I found today.
