As you can see in these pictures, MAC "Impassioned" & Sportsgirl "Watermelon" are both creamy & shiny. MAC "Relentlessly Red" & Clinique "Long Last Soft Matte Peony" are matte with "Relentlessly Red" being the most matte (retro matte).
Sportsgirl: is an Australian Brand which first opened in 1948. This lipstick glides on nicely because of it's non matte texture. Retail Price: for $9.99 AUS.
Clinique: Long Last Soft Matte Peony is just like it's name. Soft Matte + Long Lasting, with a slight powdery feel. I got this as a gift with purchase. Retail price: $19.50 CAD. (Can find cheaper online.)
MAC: Retail Price: $18.50 USD.
