I LOVE drugstore lipsticks because they are easily accessible for me, and of course, the price! I like to experiment with different colors and textures before taking the plunge and purchasing higher end brands. Since Fall/Winter is coming soon, I've been OBSESSED with finding the perfect deep, dark, luscious, colors from the drugstore. Most of these shades are red based, & some terracotta/nudes for those who like something more understated and easier to wear.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish '11': Bright deep red with similar undertones to Rimmel 107 (plummy).
Rimmel London Lasting Finish '107': (This packaging does not say 'Kate' on it, so I'm not sure it is the original 107 or an updated packaging. Beautiful deep plummy red and is perfect for any season. *Some reviewers say this is a dupe to MAC's Rebel/WNW's Sugar Plum Fairy, (it's not), this is way less purple.
Rimmel London Lasting Finish '124 Bordeaux': (Deep purply red sheeny color, slight fruity scent, worn for few hours, non-staining.)
Rimmel London Lasting Finish '800 Berry Mischief': (1-2 shades deeper than 124 Bordeaux but similar, purply brownish red, worn for few hours, surprisingly non-staining.) Possible dupe: Revlon Black Cherry'. Price: $5.99 8-99 Cdn.
Revlon Super Lustrous Creme 'Berry Haute 660': (Mauvy light/medium pinky plum) Possible dupe: MAC 'Up The Amp'.
Revlon '051 Red Rules The World': (Beautiful deep matte brownish red) Possible dupe: MAC Russian Red.
Revlon '720 Fire & Ice': (Bright electric coral red, orange undertones, glides on easily.) Price: $4.99-$8.99 Cdn.
Wet N Wild '539A Cherry Frost' (Vivid bright but deep frosty red, hints of shimmer. Glides on creamy/pigmented with some slip, not transfer proof. Easy to find/inexpensive. Unscented. Price: $0.99 - $1.50 Cdn. Staining.
Wet N Wild '560B Secret Muse'. (Mauvy dusty pink with a hint of purple, easy to wear without mirror) Looks like a dupe for Revlon 'Berry Haute' but brighter & a touch less purple. Unscented.
Wet N Wild 'Cherry Bomb': (Extremely pigmented, slightly thick, unscented, dark purply red color. Does not bleed on my lips.) Price: $3.49-$4.99 Cdn. Staining. Great news, Wet n Wild recently changed their packaging so hopefully they are less flimsy!

Wet N Wild 'Vamp It Up': (Extremely dark, purple, borderline black, trickier to apply on lips. Price $3.49-4.99)
Chi Chi 'Lady Bump' (Matte) Rich plum purple, similar to sugar plum fairy, bit less pink, more matte and drying. Soft plastic matte case sorta melted due to tropical climate.) Price: Target Aus $18.95 All these colors were staining.
BH Cosmetics Color Lock (Matte) 'Rapture': (Rich, pigmented, deep brown with slight purple undertones. Makes clicking sound when twisted up.) I ordered this from their official website. Today Aug 31 2020, I wore this all day, it went on smoothly even without wearing chapstick. The color is dark, rich, and becoming one of my new favorites. It was slightly tacky, I did a kiss test, color transfer very minimal. Left a little stain, nothing too crazy. Price: $5. Sale: $2USD.
J. Cat Beauty Fantabulous 'Deep Love 143': (Creamy semi-matte deep plum, unscented, but not the best packaging, a bit flimsy. Price: $2.99 Usd)
LAX by 4U2 in '09': (Rich, beautiful, deep dark red, very creamy, bleeds a bit outside lip lines. Medicare Thailand, Vietnam, Asia. Price: $4.99 USD.)
NYX 'Snow White 569': (Deep rich creamy brownish blackened red. $5 CAD) BONUS: Has a lip gloss on bottom that most people are not aware of, just a bit tough to pull off! Possible dupe: Mac Diva.
NYX 'Matte Navy': This one is not quite in the vampy family, but its deep, dark, and fun to wear, especially for the Winter blues :p Magnetic cap. ($10 CAD)

Miniso Magic Lasting 'Poppy Red 03': (Dark purply red, powdery matte, pen tip applicator lip-color, a little drying. Claims to be water/oil resistant. These are like the Clinique Pop Lip Shadow Cushion Matte Lip Powder $19.50) but they're only $2 usd/cdn with a smaller color selection)
Miniso Mini Poni 'Raspberry Red 08': (Juicy, moisturizing, deep red color, applies sheer, but buildable, most glossy color from this arm swatch. $4.99 Cdn.)
Kiss New York 'Truism KIL17' (Deep reddish brick brown, matte, has a strange artificial fruity scent that can be cloying.) $6. USD. Bonus: Lipgloss on cap. Possible dupes: Looks like NYX Alabama which looks like Mac Viva Glam I.
Kiss New York 'Amorous Matte Gel 'KMGL 18': Beautiful matte red, reminds me of Ruby Woo by Mac. Flat round tip. Bonus: Lipgloss on cap. $6.USD.
New Look 'Dark Cranberry' (Deep semi-sheer red, 2nd most shiny from this arm swatch.)
Maybelline 'Divine Wine 695' (Rich deep creamy matte red with brown/purple undertones.) $7.99 USD. Dupe: Mac 'Diva'.
Mariposa 'Matte 01' Dollarama/Dollar tree: Matte, deep berry red, very pigmented, and only $1.25 Cdn) Looks like a close dupe to Maybelline's 'Divine Wine'.
Mariposa 'Matte 05' Dollarama/Dollar tree: (Creamy matte bright red) $1.25 Cdn.
Mariposa 'Matte 07' Dollarama/Dollar Tree: (Matte, almost retro-matte finish) Red w/pink undertones) $1.25 Cdn. Mariposa packaging is flimsy and very light weight plastic in this set, but most are unscented with a hint of vanilla.
Kiko Milano Lip Stylo 'Matte Mauve??': Matte, cool/neutral tone plummy/brown mauve, gorgeous, natural. Glides on beautifully and very long lasting (Transfer proof). This one does not have a number on it, so I'm not exactly sure what the exact color is called. Got this at Kiko Cosmetics Store in France. $3.99 Eur.

Mac Matte 'Chili' (mini size): Brick red color, pigmented, glides on like a dream. Best suited for warmer skin tones although some cool skin tones may pull it off well. $12 usd for mini.
H&M Matte 'Red Haute': Pigmented, thick, powdery, drying, and harder to apply.(Similar to Mac Chili but less red) Price: $14.99 Cad.
Maybelline 370 Spice For Me (Creamy copper terracotta w/warm gold undertones, semi sheer, thinner formula. Price $6.99 Cad.)

Wet N Wild '913C Sandstorm': (Finally ordered this on Amazon to almost complete my Wet N Wild collection ;P) Highly pigmented, creamy, warm nude brown with orange/pink undertones, a bit thicker, harder to find in drugstores but worth it! $5.99.
MAC Retro Matte 'Flat Out Fabulous': (Extreme Matte, deep vibrant purply pink, drying like Ruby Woo but color is so pretty.) Dupe: L'oreal Glamour Fuschsia. $20 usd.
Lancome Rouge Absolu Creme 'Merlot': (Deep blackened Purple, has some sheen, reminds me of Revlon 'Black Cherry' or Milani 'Black Cherry'. Price: $41-$50 Cad. I am not sure if you can still find this color anymore, but added it here as a reference color.) This lippy smells odd to me and I don't think I've had it that long. Did not glide on smoothly.
Kat Von D Studded Kiss Creme in 'Vampira': (Dark vampy oxblood burgundy red, looks matte) I got this in a blister pod sample at Sephora, so it is applied with a cotton-swab. $20 Usd.
