13 Terracotta Lipsticks Collection Swatches & Review

Terracotta colors come in all shades of pumpkin, orange, brown, rust, copper, red, brick, and remind me of falling leaves on a sunny day in Autumn. So that's what inspired me to make this post.

6. J Cat Beauty Matte lipstick Diary 'Always Ready': Mauvy pink-brown. Drier waxy formula. ($5 USD)

7. MAC mini matte 'Chili': Brownish-red brick, nice formula. (Price:$12 USD)

8. H&M 'Red Haute': Brownish orangey-red brick, thick powdery formula (matte) ($15.99)

9. Merzy With Me L4: Brownish-red brick (powdery matte). Magnetic case. ($9-12 USD)

10. Merzy Another Me 'The first Velvet Tint' V6: Sheer brownish-red brick. Left heavy pink stain. ($9-12 USD)

11. Revlon Super Lustrous 'Toast Of New York 325' Reddish copper orange-brown. Most sheer of these swatches. Easy to apply w/no mirror. ($4.99 - $9.99 Cdn)

12. Maybelline '370 Spice For Me': Copper orange-brown, gold undertones. Second most sheer in the swatches. ($7.99 Cdn)

Bonus: Lip on Lip Charm in Appealing Orange Matte: I just found this lipstick right after I did this arm swatch! So I couldn't swatch them all together. I got this because I'm drawn to this silky soft matte texture. There is no sheen to it whatsoever. That's what I want when I look for a matte lipstick. The packaging is a little larger than most lipsticks I own yet it is the standard 4g. It is also sturdy and has a magnetic closure so it feels secure to travel with. (Price: $12 USD.)

Compared to Sephora #Lipstories Palm Street 62, the size difference is obvious. Both colors are similar in person. Palm Street being a tad browner and has a lot more sheen, & also glided on easier due to the creaminess. The packaging is part cardboard/part plastic. (Price: $9usd.)
